Who We Are 

The Geophysical Electromagnetic Research Group (GEM) at Southern University of Science and Technology studies the geo-electromagnetic exploration methods and their applications in the characterization of subsurface. When external EM sources interact with the earth medium, some characteristic electrical and/or magnetic field data can be observed to infer the properties of the earth's interior.

南方科技大学地球物理电磁法研究小组(GEM)主要研究电磁勘探方法及其在地下表征中的应用。当外部电磁源与地球介质相互作用时，可以观测到一些特征电磁场数据，从而推断地球内部的性质。

What We Do  

At GEM, we develop novel tools and algorithms that decode such information.
